Can you get New 98 eclipse gsx motor?

Hey I was just wondering if you could get a new older eclipse motor from the dealership or anywhere that has little to none miles on it. I love the older eclipse bodies (dsm) because most of the newer cars are bigger and bulkier (stupid looking). So I wanted to know if you could just get a new older motor to put in the an old eclipse. You cant find a good deal on a very low mile older eclipse now let alone just finding one. Also, I was wondering if you could just do this for any car in general?
