Does it make more sense to buy another car, or invest in fixing this one?

Hey.!! Okay so today my 1998 Volkswagen Beetle overheated, broke down & stopped working. The Mechanic said I blew the motor and it needs a new radiator...So I was wondering do you think it'll make more sense to buy another car or get this fixed.
