How do you become a handyman?

i want to become a handyman ive made fliers but don't no if it is illegal to put them in peoples doors or not i know how to paint,tile,do laminate flooring and stuff i will put them through doors but know if im allowed i am 18 so im allowed to work and i live in the uk.
