Jeep wrangler rebuilt motor overheats at 65 mph?

I have a 2000 jeep wrangler with a rebuilt motor (6 cyl), new water pump (high performance), new thermostat, new belt, new radiator and new high per. oil pump. It runs fine until I reach about 65 mph and it starts to get over 210 degrees (where is has alway stayed, even before I change motor). I would say it get about 250 degrees, never hits the red, but I usally don't drive it more that 20 miles when it starts to run hot. As soon as i slow down it gradually goes back to 210 degrees. the temp gauge is working fine. Does anyone know what it might be?

Handy Man Stole my iPod?

Alright so every morning i wake up brush my teeth etc and i get ready for school and i check the weather, facebook, and time everyday continuously in the morning. Since my brother broke my headphones i left the ipod on my bed on a pile of clothes. I didnt bring my ipod to school. And when i came back home i looked on my bed for my ipod and it wasnt there. So i ask my dad and he said that there was a handy man here today.(The handy man was renovating my bathroom and my room is less then 2 feet next to the bathroom) And since my bathroom was getting fixed my dad puts all the things that were in the cabinets etc in my room and since there is some hot weather over here my dad put a extension cable in my room which connected a fan to make sure the handy man dosent get hot. (So my door was open) And then i was like was there anyone else here and then he said the handy man did bring a kid with him who was about 14-16 years old and he helped the handy man clean up a bit. And my dad was watching them but he had to go up and downstairs because he was doing different things but my dad did watch them most of the time. And my dad even saw the ipod on my bed in the morning. So my heart drops because i knew it was stolen so i go in my room and flip everything upside down trying to find it. And me and my dad knew that one of them had taken it because the only people in that area were the handyman, kid, and my dad no one else and it would only take less then 10 seconds to go snatch and grab. And the handyman is a bit sketchy himself he hardly answers calls and he lies a bit sometimes. So on that day we call him he surprisingly picks up and he is like yeah im at this guys house fixing this etc and we walk over there and my dad ask where is the kid who was working with u and then he said he just went to the house to your house so me and my dad walk back to my house and we see this kid run from another direction not even near my house and he comes back nervously saying the handyman is looking for you and all that. and then my dad asked why did you go all the way over there and he was like oh i thought ur house was over there. And then me and my dad just go back to the house and then my dad confronts the handyman later on and tells him about the incident and he was like ill try to get it back to you. So my dad calls him later and asks him and he says he dosent have it. But that was obviously BS because him and the kid were the only ones there. Brand-new air conditioner (window unit) blows air but doesn't cool it - is there a reason?

My landlady's husband just installed a new window-unit type AC in my apartment. We ran it for about 20 minutes while he was there, and it never started to actually cool the air down. Double pole circuit breaker and my wiring have me worried.?

I had a room in my house with an outlet on a switch. I hate those so I added a ceiling fan. The switch was originally an "end Line" switch. I rewired the outlet and the switch to use a "through" switch. The part I don't understand is the circuit breaker. It is a double pole breaker 110v. It uses 2 hot wires with a common neutral. One switch controls the light in the room I'm working on, the other controls the hallway. There is some sort of transformer on the side of the panel that HUMS. WHen I turned off the breaker to the room I'm working on, the HUM stops. I noticed that the Ceiling fan motor HUMS louder than I thought it would. Here are my questions. Why the double pole breaker? To save space? What is the transformer? Does anyone see a problem with my switching an "end line" switch into a "through" switch?? Thank you so much in advance.

I live alone and neighbors never ever come around to see if i need help with handyman issues. I feel like God has abandoned me. Airsoft Motor Problem PLEASE HELP!!?

Hi i have a airsoft motor problem. I have a thompson airsoft gun, with the wiring in the stock. Before I connect the stock wiring with the wire that comes out of the gearbox, when i plug in my battery to shoot the gun, it works fine. BUT, after i plug in the stock wiring and connect the battery, the motor makes a grinding noise and it shoots about half as slower. It's not the fuse, or the stock wiring I checked both. It's not the battery cause i have a 9.6 it has to be the motor/gearbox, but I don't know what to do. help?

I bought a 1991 yamaha fzr600 as a project bike. The gas tank was off but i wanted to just make sure it would turn over. So, I charged the battery, then used a screwdriver to short circuit the starter solenoid, and the starter motor started. The starter button on the handlebar wouldnt do it, so what is wrong with my bike? What do i need to do to make it run? Also, when i put the gas tank back on, will it start right up, or what do I have to do to get it to run?

2009 9.9HP Mercury Outboard alternator charging battery?

I just bought a 2009 9.9HP Mercury outboard motor. The motor comes with electrical start. It comes standard with a 6amp/76watt alternator. My question is, will this charge my marine battery? I'm sure the 6amp is only at full throttle and not at trolling.

How do I make my 25HP 1988 Johnson outboard motor run smooth in mid range?

My motor starts great, idles just fine, trolling speed, no problem, wide open runs great but when I hit the throttle is stammers a bit ( 2 or 3 seconds or more ) before it smooths out and takes off. I have changed plugs, gapped them at 30 thousand and have the factory recommended plugs in it. Also tried a tank of fresh high octane gas ( no ethanol in it ) and mixed oil carefully at 50 to 1. I stored my boat last year and drained it for the winter with no ethanol and Sea foam stabilizer was ran through it before running it dry and storing it. I have check tanks for any junk and there super clean. I can't think it would be dirt as it will run good top speed for long periods without a miss. Just at take off when I hit it. That is about all I can tell you and hope someone has a good answer. Thanks

The louvers on the whole house fan won't stay open. We were told to replace the shutter. Now the problem is we don't know how to accurately measure. Most whole house fans tend to be 24 or 30 inches. When we measure the shutter cover in place now we get odd measurements. The motor is not the problem. The fan works great if we prop the louvers open.

I am a mother of 2 loving children and have been married to my husband for just a little over 8 year.. Our marriage started off on the wrong foot, and the drama started 7 hours after we got married.. I found out on that day that the girl he called his best friend was also a girl he often slept with right up until we met.. She called my personal phone (unsure how she got the number) and told me that she could still get whatever she wanted from him.. That she would always be number one and that I should get use to that cause she was going no where.. Being it was my wedding day and with the fact , that after being confronted my new husband told the truth and informed her he no longer wanted to deal with her . I forgave him and choose to move on. Things went well and we got along great other then the few normal arguments , up until I found out I was pregnant with my first child. While pregnant I started to have a few epileptic episodes and was put on best rest.. Unable to help pay bills , The fighting got worse and towards the end or my pregnancy , my husband got a little abusive.. At first it was simple things like just pushing then one day he slapped me.. He told me it was from all the stress of bills and all and after a long talk we decided it would be best for us to move back down south to be closer to my family so we would have support.. After the move things started going great again.. My son was born and we both enjoyed being parents.. When my son was 6 months we decided to move as his job had relocated him .. We moved to New Orleans, and I started going back to work. That is when he lost his job.. Now in a new area , no support , new baby and yet losing his job , he started getting depressed and again the abuse started again.. It started with pushing , and shoving and that is when I choose to separate for a little while.. I got my own place and moved with my son and after some therapy we choose to get back together.. 3 weeks after he moved in Katrina hit.. We lost everything and had no choice but to move back up north where he was offered a new job.. 1 month later I found out that my birth control pills had not worked and that I was again pregnant. We were fighting more from all the stress and I ended up in the hospital , after he punched me in the head causing me to have a seizure that also caused me to give birth to my daughter at 6 months.. My husband was arrested after that and went to jail.. I got a order of protection and custody of my 2 children. Trying to save up money to move back to my moms , I found myself in need of his families support .. After talking to his mother, I decided to give him another chance.. It was at this time my life turned to hell .. My father found out he had bone marrow cancer and died a few months later along with his mother and father .. My mother ended up disowning me for going back to my husband and 4 months later my brother tried to kill himself by jumping from a 3rd story window .. During all this my husband was traveling for work.. I was stuck at home with no family , no support 1 new born , 1 toddler , a husband who I could not seem to talk to and being extremely depressed.. I started to eat more and do less around the home.. I also started to meet more people via social networking sites. This led to some online flirting that later after returning home , my husband found out about.. It only caused more arguments , and more drama in our relationship.. He started to say he had more work or would have to stay late.. I later found out he had reconnected with the original girl who I had found out about on our wedding day. In the end I ended up finding the 2 together in bed.. I left for a year and filed for separation.. He ended up going to therapy and getting on medicine as well as going to classes to help with the domestic violence.. 2 days before our divorce was final , we decided to give it another go.. Things have gone great for over 2 years now and besides the basic normal arguments, things have been better then ever , or so I thought.. A week ago he called me from work and out of no where he asked for a divorce.. He has not come home and will only answer his phone when it is the kids bed time .. He says good night to them and then hangs up the phone.. I tried at first to ask questions , like , why , where are you , what's going on , will you be back and so on.. This has only made him shut down more. To be honest , I just want closer if it is over .. He has not filed yet and refuses to do anything to help until as he says "the divorce is final".I have gotten a lawyer but have informed him that a divorce is not what I want.. Now to upgrade you will need Various parts. The echo1 will probably shoot 330-340fps? This will most likely be with an M90 spring. Then for it to run on LiPo you will need to get an 110 spring, new gears, better motor (sytema magnum motor very good!) and i would recommend a tight bore barrel. You also should probably get a new piston and cylinder so they are stronger. This could be quite expensive. If you want it to run on 11.1v LiPo then it will be VERY expensive but, your gun should support a 7.2v LiPo as stock maybe a few mods but anything more, and your gun is gonna need a serious tune up. He never offered to put me up anywhere i'm sure he would have just let me sleep on my couch for a week for all he cared. Anyway, after the ceiling was put back up and he claimed it was livable again he left me to do all the cleaning (dust all over everything on my dressers and pictures, dust on the walls and all over the floors, tons of dirt and dust all over my bedroom carpet, plaster and insulation left under the heating elements and in the hallway) I spent 2 days cleaning before it was actually truly livable again. As my half of the rent i pay $400 a month. I received a check for $70 from my landlord for 1/6 of my rent reimbursed. How "wild" do you want to go? Personally I'd start with a LT4 hot cam and some gears in the rear end. Then maybe a stroker kit if you want to up the cubic inches. Or just go full blown, build the motor with forged internals and slap a big supercharger on there.

How come only 2 of the big four Dirtbike manufactures make 2 strokes. I really don't like 4 strokes it just costs to much to maintain. The argument that it isn't fuel efficient is BS because look at BRP's skidoo ETEC snowmobiles! They are two stroke and they use the same amount of gas as the four strokes. Is it the original engine and transmission? If so check to make sure you have the dowel pins (should be 2 of them) lined up properly and get them close enough together to start at least 4 or 5 bolts. Then push them together slowly by tightening the bolts in one turn increments (criss-cross pattern) until it is together.

It is probably more to do with the fact that she doesn't like the sound of the rain, or it reminds her of being in the rain on the street. It's pretty easy to solve, you just need to get her used to the sound and she should be a lot better when it rains. Buy or burn a CD of the sound of rain (while your at it throw in some thunder too). When its nice outside, play the CD quietly in a room with your dog. Stay in the room with her and pet her and calm her down (remember to play it very quietly). Sometimes you can just leave it on in the house. Do this often, and after a while start to turn it up slowly. Keep doing this until it is the regular noise level of rain. She should be fine after that. If she is not, keep trying, but it may be more of a mental issue.

How come only 2 of the big four Dirtbike manufactures make 2 strokes. I really don't like 4 strokes it just costs to much to maintain. The argument that it isn't fuel efficient is BS because look at BRP's skidoo ETEC snowmobiles! They are two stroke and they use the same amount of gas as the four strokes. An HVAC tech could come out and check your ductwork. However if the room gets hotter only when you do not run your AC it is probably an insulation issue in that room. It is common for additions to have trouble maintaining the same temps as the rest of the house if this is an addition. Either way a good hvac tech could figure that out too.

Some companies offer to deodorize using ozone generators....mixed reviews. I was having problems well on deployment, I went on R and R and the problems kept happening and finally got worse i ended up in the hospital and let my chain of command know what was going on. I got a psych eval at fort Stewart and was told i was not fit for duty, Now i am back at my duty station Fort Hood and have been doing counseling. I will soon be buying the 99-04 PI head kit. I have decided that the vortech supercharger is going to be the best for me (I wish I could afford a kenne bell but the price just seems out of the question) so my question is what vortech supercharger kit would get me around 450 hp. I see only one on American Muscle that gives around 405hp but that does not seem like a smart choice buying a supercharger from AM. Also with my bottom end what would be a safe psi to run,and i want the SC to really scream. I tested the capacitor to see if that could be the problem. It is a dual start capacitor, with both the compressor and the fan hooked up to it. I don't have a capacitance tester so I used my multimeter and tested the ohms. Both portions of the capacitor started out at 0 and as they charged from the multimeter went to infant ohms as expected on a good capacitor. The capacitor does not appear to be blown or bubbled at the top though it is extremely rusty for being only 4 years old. I also pulled the fan motor off the AC Unit and checked the resistance in the motor. There are only 3 wires coming out so I tested all three which added up to what equates to a good motor. Beyond this I just can't figure out why the dang fan won't start. The bearings on the fan seem fine as well. They do not feel seized up. The blade spins fairly freely. The only thing I can thing is to check the relay swith. How can I tell if that is bad?

Sounds almost a rod knock but goes away at about 2800 rpm. I've heard that in '97 they switched to a hydraulic lifter and needed to have the valve reset every 100,000 miles. The car is getting close to 140,000. I don't know if that's true or not, but if not what else could the sound be? It sounds like it coming from inside the motor somewhere. I have no clue where anything is in the motor, I've never worked on a Subaru before other than a motor swap. This is the cars second engine and i'd really like the keep it alive this time. I know these engines have a thing for dying.

Car is hunting need help! for Professional mechanics?

okay so it all started when i was testing and disconnected spark plug caple from the coil while the car was running and at that moment it reved up to 4000 rpm and stayed there until you would tap the gas pedal then it went down and started hunting!, and this happens now every time when the car is turned on it revs on 4000 or something until you tap the pedal. and also if you disconnect the vacuum hose from the map sensor it stopps hunting but idle stays at like 1500rpm, and as soon as you connect the hose to the sensor again it starts hunting again(It is not the map sensor! i have tried changing it with no change!) it cant be that the car is taking false air cause it started when the wire was disconnected from the coil. so i was thinging maby somethinghappenedd to thestepper motorr when the wire wasdisconnectedd from the coil and damaged the stepper motor is that apossibilityy? what do you think

97 Saturn SL2 Electrical Problem?

On my Saturn, it happens in 2 places. If it happens when the vehicle is cold, When accelerating, the Transmission will be stuck in D4. if the short happens when the car is hot, you will be traveling about 75 MPH on the interstate, and the guages will go dim, and the volt meter will bottom out, like you turned the key off. It is the same response when the car is cold. It is like you turned the key off, but the engine still runs fine. The only difference I have found which is major is when it is cold and it acts up, the volt meter bottoms out like the key is turned off, and it will not shift. When hot at night, you can see all the lights go dim, the AC blower motor slows down, etc. Any ideas? ALREADY REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH UNDER THE DASH.
