With progressive if i just got a policy with them....?

I went to motor vehicle to register the car and etc and something was wrong because the person didn't give me the right title can I get my money. They say that I can but I just got the insurance yesterday and I can't keep the car so can I get my money back as in the next day. I know it probably will take a week to get it
